Dr. Claudio Stacchi carries out his research activity in the Maxillofacial Surgery and Stomatology Clinic of Trieste University, directed by prof. Roberto Di Lenarda.

In this period, his research interests mainly focus on:

• Ultrasonic bone surgery
• Minimally invasive techniques for implant-supported rehabilitation of atrophic posterior maxilla (transcrestal and lateral sinus augmentation, short implants)
• Study and optimization of biomaterials for bone regeneration
